Our Story
How you met, and how you came to be planning your big day.. During the summer of 2005, we met at the Apple River in Wisconsin, through a mutual friend. At the time, neither of us thought to highly of each other. It wasn't till New Years that we saw each other again. Things went alittle bit smoother, whether it due to the celebration or the help of large amounts of alcoholic beverages. Slowly throughout the spring, we spent more time together and by our birthday's in July, which we share, we had moved in together. THe proposal, not completely out of the blue, but not expected by any means, came during a family christmas trip in Mexico. On a sandy beach, by candlelight and Nora Jones, Evan proposed and Kate said Yes! Needless to say, the location holds sentimental value and is the reason we are planning to marry there.
